The Goods

With his eighth solo CD The Goods, which finds him again working with close musical compatriot Duke Robillard and new collaborators the Lifetime Grammy-winning Blind Boys of Alabama, Al continues to tell his unique stories in song, blues-roots style. Al has fused his songwriting, cornet, and vocal talents together seamlessly, and his 2010 nomination for a Blues Music Award as best horn player shows that the lofty reputation he has earned among his musical peers is continuing to spread to the wider world.
